Deep, dark ruby purple. Fine bready notes on the nose, along with a touch of ripe blackberries and black cherries, light malt and milk chocolate. Full-bodied palate with rich drive, lots of tannins and broad shoulders, very bold, fine ferrous tones on the finish, currently still a bit loosely knit, put away and forget a few years.
