The red wine Prelius Prile Maremma Toscana DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Prelius has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep, rich ruby red. A very rich and dark berry nose - especially ripe Amarena cherries and blackberries - as well as something subtly animalistic, cheese rind and leather. On the palate there's fine and tightly woven tannins alongside juicy fruit. Punchy and rich until the finish, this should be decanted.
