The red wine Cahors AOC Château de Cenac Eulalie, vintage 2009 from the winery Prieuré de Cénac has been rated in 2011 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Malbec from the region South West France in France.
Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Delicate floral notes of cassis and blackberries on the nose, ripe plums, some liquorice, underlaid with delicate nougat. Full-bodied and sweet, present tannins, chocolaty finish, round and already accessible, but should be allowed to mature for another year or two, a powerful food companion.
