Strongly characterized by wood (American oak?) with smoky vanilla aromas. On the palate the pronounced fruit and powerful acidity is emphatic in the mid-palate. The density seems taut integrating slightly green elements. The pithy finish brings together acidity, tactile minerality and the phenolic content. Designed for long bottle aging, this is an exciting wine.
