Dark ruby with purple reflections, brightening to an ochre rim. Nuances of fresh black fruits of the forest are delicately underlaid with leather and tobacco, a hint of cranberries, and candied oranges, plus a fine minerality in the background. Juicy, elegant, rounded and harmonious, it has ripe tannins, very good freshness, a savoury component, fine balsamic nuances, and immense concentration and length.
