The red wine PUR Silver rot, vintage 2017 from the winery PUR Wein-Genuss has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark garnet core, purple reflections, good depth of colour with a delicate ochre rim. Black forest berry fruits scented with a hint of vanilla wood, red cherries, sour cherries, candied orange zest and fine tobacco spices. Juicy, elegant, pleasant fruit extracted sweetness on the mid palate, finesse-rich acidity, salty minerality on the finish. Good development potential.
