The red wine Quinta de Saes Estagio Prolongado Tinto Reserva Dão DOC, vintage 2011 from the winery Quinta da Pellada has been rated in 2016 by Martin Kilchmann with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region Dao in Portugal.
Plum confit, fig, cinnamon, but also black pepper and flint, full-bodied but at the same time bundled palate, mellow tannin, the long barrel aging has not diminished the freshness, long lasting complex finish fruit. A mineral interwoven, stylistically very individual red.
