The red wine Reserva, vintage 2017 from the winery Quinta das Tecedeiras has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tempranillo, Tinta Barocca, Tinto Cao from the region Douro in Portugal.
Dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and a subtle rim brightening. Dark berry fruit and candied orange zest mix with a touch of wood and hints of nougat on the nose. Juicy and elegant on the palate, with a core of ripe cherries and well-integrated tannins. A repeat of the subtle nougat note and a mineral touch emerges on the finish. Good development potential.
