Dark ruby, purple reflections, discreet brightening on the rim. Tobacco underlay, dark berry fruit, subtle hints of liquorice and black cherry, a touch of coconut and fine oak, a multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, elegant, mature berry fruit, ripe with supporting tannins, and with nougat on the finish. It is persistent, has definite ageing potential and is a versatile food wine.
