Dark amber in the glass. Beguiling, complex bouquet with notes of dried figs, dates, rum sultanas and loomi. This is joined by roasted nuts, dried apple, candied citrus fruits and a little lovage and oud. Concentrated on the palate, with a beautiful interplay between plump sweetness and lively acidity. Intense fruit, cocoa, popped grain and an intense balsamic, floral savouriness on the long finish.
