The red wine Cuvée Barrique trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Reis – feine Weine! has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder , Dunkelfelder from the region Moselle in Germany.
The 2015 version of Reis' barrique cuvée shows its ageing stage with its garnet-red rim in the glass. The nose reveals small forest fruits, ripe wild strawberries, elderberries and some ivy. The palate is dense, soft and aromatically much younger. A little residual sweetness has helped to counteract the pithy acidity.
