The red wine Cuvée Barrique Rotwein trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Reis – feine Weine! has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder , Dunkelfelder from the region Moselle in Germany.
Smells like woodruff! Also some bread crust, a hint of wood. And an almost perfumed, nutmeg-like note. Lots of juice and texture in the mouth, the fine-grained tannin is used with restraint, the acidity begins mildly and then rises in harmony with the juicy, sweet fruit, a very individual and elegant wine.
