The Red Wine Castello di Brolio Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Ricasoli has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Toscana in Italy.
Brilliant, rich ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Very open and accessible nose, smells seductively of ripe cherries, some cloves and blueberries. Round and supple in the attack and palate, a very soft and round Chianti, finely meshed tannins, lots of sweet texture, the finish perhaps lacks some bite.
