The franciacorta Extra Brut Franciacorta DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Ricci Curbastro has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Pinot Noir, Chardonnay from the region Lombardia in Italy.
A very pale straw yellow colour with a shimmering core. On the nose, light yeasty notes then a hint of blood oranges, roasted nuts and toast, ending on wild berries. Very precise and straightforward on the palate, juicy, a well-integrated mousse, with a very dry finish.
