The sparkling wine Museum Release Franciacorta Satèn DOCG Brut, vintage 2012 from the winery Ricci Curbastro has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Bright golden yellow colour. Broad and complex on the nose. Ripe yellow apple, quince, vanilla and toffee, plus brioche and toasted bread. Complex and powerful on the palate, fresh and stimulating at first, with notes of quince and grapefruit, orange peel and ringed peel after a fine, mouth-filling mousse. Long finish.
