The red wine Noceto Nizza DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Ricossa has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a delicate brightening edge. On the nose fresh wild berries, fine peppermint, also elderberries; in the second range liquorice and a touch of dark chocolate. Opens initially polished on the palate with bright fruit and compact texture, plus nice juiciness, minimal drying on the finish.
