The red wine »18 Gradi« Puglia Primitivo, vintage 2021 from the winery Riolite Vini has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Primitivo from the region Puglia in Italy.
Powerful, highly concentrated aromas of dark chocolate and dark berries, tobacco, buttercream and black pepper. The palate spans a very large frame, the massive alcohol, which puts most Amarone in the shade, is densely filled with firm tannins, fruit and concentrated, albeit well-integrated acidity. The powerful body even needs this acidity! Very special, but impressive.
