Bright ruby in colour with purple reflections, and a subtle watery rim. On the nose, aromas of ripe plum fruit, candied orange zest, dried rose petal, subtly spicy and inviting with dried apricot in the background. The palate is complex and juicy, with fresh fig notes and a saline texture, noticeably maritime in style, with delicate notes of nougat on the very lively finish, stimulating and persistent. A multi-faceted food wine with ageing potential. Great!.
