The red wine Stielle Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Rocca di Castagnoli has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby red with a shiny core. Delicate, subtle nose of ripe blackberry and fresh forest fruits, accompanied by light savoury notes. Very rich on the palate with fine fruit and somewhat loosely knit tannins, expands widely and lingers long on the finish.
