The red wine Poggio A'Frati Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Rocca di Castagnoli has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, bright ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. Rich peach and the finest Assam tea notes on the nose, savoury and fine. Concentrated on the palate with tightly woven tannins and a vivid body, starts fruity and continues very juicy to the finish, slightly drying.
