The red wine Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Roccolo Callisto has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear ruby red with a brightening rim. Subtly perfumed on the nose with aromas of preserved plum and violets, also some geranium. Sweet, balsamic fruit core on the palate, broad tannins, becomes somewhat broad on the finish.
