Tasting Notes
The yeasty, almost honeyed notes on the nose promise richness while the ripe apple aromas promise fruit. The palate delivers on both points: the body is rounded and generous, glinting with notes of blossom honey and buttery patisserie. The foam has lovely creaminess and the midpalate betrays a depth of rich, ripe apple and stone fruit. Brisk English acidity lends backbone and poise. A lovely wine that easily manages the transition from aperitif to table.
