The red wine Mittelburgenland DAC Ried Sonnberg, vintage 2018 from the winery Rotweingut Prickler has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Deep dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Underlaid with some tobacco spice, ripe cherries, a touch of citrus zest, dark berry confit. Juicy, complex, well-integrated tannins, nougat notes, some wood nuances and blackberries on the finish, will benefit from bottle age.
