The ripe, soft tones of strawberry compote hit the nose, accompanied by even softer vanilla. On the palate, this ripe, full-bodied fruit has a wonderful counterpoint in the fine but grippy tannins and the fresh, invigorating acidity.

Ripe fruits, black cherries, prunes, a hint of wood, electuary. Dense and creamy initially, a full dose of tannins, firm, distinctive, good structure, almost fleshy, high density. Long and full of ageing potential. There is freshness and tension, and the finish is complex with a mineral background. Tactile, even lingering for a very long time.
