The red wine San Leonardo IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery San Leonardo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenère from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby. After roasted chestnuts, then juicy currant. Very rich and dense on the palate. Hearty, grippy tannin, earthy notes paired with rich herbal savouriness and dark berries, will develop for a long time.
