The red wine San Leonardo IGT, vintage 2016 from the winery San Leonardo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenère from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling ruby with a slight purple tinge. Very clear, finely marked fruit, ripe dark currants, sour cherries and fine cocoa notes. Juicy, fine herbal spice, some thyme, finely-meshed tannins, unfolds with great elegance.
