The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery San Rustico dal 1870 has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Clear ruby with bright garnet rim. Finely marked nose with notes of raspberry drops, dark cherry juice and some saffron. Fine-meshed tannin on the approach, but becomes quite loosely knit in the course, clearly drying on the finish.
