The red wine Gaso Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery San Rustico dal 1870 has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Shiny ruby with a light garnet edge. Opens with notes of white pepper, some tarragon, then plums and dried mushrooms. Firm, well-integrated tannin, builds up well in the front course, then becomes a little more restrained.
