Dark, elegant ruby red. Very spicy nose, nutmeg, walnut, dried plum, red apple. On the palate it shows with a lot of tannin, perceptible oak, seems somewhat rustic, ripe fruit, then becomes animatingly bittersweet on the finish, for old-school Amarone lovers.
