Medium ruby red with a brightening rim. Fruity on the nose, dominated by sour cherries and wild berries. Nutmeg and cloves together form a savoury arc with typical Macchia herbs. Powerful on the palate, not overpowering. Balanced between tannins, alcohol and acidity. Light balsamic notes and dark chocolate give the wine additional depth.
