The white wine »Holzfass« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Schlossmühlenhof has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Pear and plum are accompanied by woody-spicy aromas, some smoke and damp leaves. The wood maturation also creates structure on the palate, clear contours with fruity extract, the vivid acidity ensures balance. Again ripe pear and savouriness, gastronomic type.
