The white wine Chardonnay, vintage 2016 from the winery Schmidt am Bodensee has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The nose is still characterised by wood, with ripe pear, melon and macadamia nut behind it. On the palate it shows with smoky savouriness and a strong structure, has power, does not quite reach the finesse of the 2015 vintage. A gastronomic wine.
