The red wine Scuro Rosso FCO DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Scubla has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Refosco from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Rich, bright ruby. Intense and appealing nose with rich notes of blackberry and blueberry, tobacco and black olive in the background. Full and substantial in the mouth, displays a lot of dark ripe berry fruit, in addition grippy, well-integrated tannin, hearty and long.
