The white wine Stara Brajda Bela, vintage 2019 from the winery Ščurek has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Ribolla Gialla, Picolit, Glera, Malvasia from the region Goriška Brda in Slovenia.
Light yellow-green in colour with silver reflections. On the nose, a restrained bouquet, that develops with air, with delicate aromas of lime, white apple, and fine tropical fruit. The elegant palate has fine minerality, a creamy texture, and integrated fruit expression, with subtle acidity and a long, saline finish. Potential for further ageing.
