Intense, dark garnet red with a light orange rim. Opens with notes of leather and liquorice, dried tomatoes, prunes and fine spices. Lots of grippy, well-integrated tannins on the full-bodied palate, which shows a beautiful core of ripe plums and a repeat of liquorice on the finish.
