The red wine Fumetto ’08 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2008 from the winery Secondo Marco has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Intense garnet red colour with a light orange rim. Opens with notes of leather and liquorice, dried tomatoes, prunes and fine spices, reverberating with delicate stony nuances. On the palate a lot of grip, well-integrated, but vivid tannins, shows beautiful ripe plums, very juicy, liquorice on the finish, textured.
