Intense, rich gold. On the nose clear use of wood, cold butter, toast, smoke, hazelnut, brown bread, plus candied pineapple and blood orange; exotic. Very deep on the palate, with lots of texture and exuberant richness, almost oily in the course, then somewhat set in the finish.
