The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva PS DOCG, vintage 2012 from the winery Siro Pacenti has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Powerful, bright ruby with garnet rim. Compact, dark berry fruit on the nose, with blackberry and raspberry, fine leather notes in the background. Very vivid on the palate, showing lots of ripe fruit, lots of cherry, some raspberry, opens with dense, finely meshed tannin in many chutes, firm and very long finish.
