The red wine Barolo Monvigliero DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Sordo Giovanni has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Clear radiant ruby red. Clear and open on the nose, some rich ripe cherries, a little leather, echoes of freshly cooked raspberry confit. A lucid fruit core on the palate, red berry and juicy fruit with tightly woven tannin, slightly salty, juicy again on the finish.
