The red wine Barolo Perno DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Sordo Giovanni has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby red. The nose is first of black tea, then leather, cherry fruit, slightly notes of alcohol in the background. On the palate, precise red fruit with a juicy core and slightly salty tannin, spreading neatly in the mouth, compact, balanced finish.
