Der Mischabelle ist eine Selektion der besonderen Art und wird aus Trauben der Sorten Pinot Noir und Gamaret gekeltert. Das Zusammenspiel der feinen Fruchtnoten des Pinot Noir und die würzigen Tannine des Gamaret finden ihre Vollendung während der Ausreifung in grossen, traditionellen Holzfässern (Fûts de Chène).
