The red wine Staatsweingut Tamino, vintage 2022 from the winery Staatsweingut Freiburg has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Cortis, Monarch, Prior from the region Baden in Germany.
An appetising aroma of dark chocolate, blackcurrant and elderberry juice wafts from the glass. The palate opens with a slight sweetness and then develops a taut, largely ripe tannin. The homogeneity and length of the wine are very good. This is an attractively priced, high-quality accompaniment to food.
