The sweet and dessert wine »Goldkapsel« Piesport Goldtröpfchen Riesling Auslese, vintage 2018 from the winery Stiftungsweingut Vereinigte Hospitien has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Golden in colour. Aromas of candied citrus fruits, forest honey, candied orange peel, pine needles and a nice spiciness. Lively acidity on the palate, with sweet citrus fruit, tangerine, candied apricot and a touch of honeyed sweetness, balanced, beautifully mature with good length and a delicate edge.
