The red wine P!geno Blauburgunder Südtirol DOC, vintage 2022 from the winery Hotel Ristorante Weingut Stroblhof has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blauburgunder from the region South-Tirol in Italy.
Transparent ruby red with a garnet rim. Caramelized cherries, cranberries, vanilla and cocoa butter on the nose. Powerful notion on the palate, lively acidity and fine-grained but grippy tannins, wrapped in rich texture, still shows fine barrel savouriness at the back and dries a little on the finish.
