The red wine Piero Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Talenti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear intense ruby red. Intense nose, opens with notes of tobacco, then ripe raspberry, dark cherries and some leather, multilayered. Also on the palate loud, vivid fruit, fine-meshed tannin in many layers that is underpinned with fine texture, sparkles, very good tension, long finish.
