The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Talenti has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, flint ruby with fine garnet shimmer. Intense and inviting nose with notes of ripe plums, cranberries, some chestnut honey and liquorice. Soft and supple in the attack and course, fills the mouth full, lots of juicy fruit, paired with fine-meshed tannin, very good tension, salty on the finish.
