The white wine Viognier San Zeno Ticino DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Tamborini Vini has been rated in 2021 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach und Ursula Geiger with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Viognier from the region Canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
A very complex bouquet characterised by yellow-fleshed fruit and some very well-integrated wood spice. There are also notes of smoked bacon and graphite in the background. The powerful palate shows the typical lily of the valley notes of the variety, as well as some fresher citrus.
