Rich, bright ruby colour with a slight garnet hue. Very intense and compact nose, opens with notes of tobacco, then white pepper, finally lots of rich plum and cherry. Plays up nicely on the palate, shows lots of fresh, vivid fruit, opens with pithy, dense tannins, fine texture, firm drive on the finish, savoury.
