The red wine Luce, vintage 2019 from the winery Tenuta Luce has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red. On the nose very expressive of cassis, crushed blueberries, a touch of fine oak, a breath of sealing wax, in the echo fine malty notes. On the palate it is juicy with pithy tannin. Finely textured with beautiful spicy notes, in the echo however a bit harsh; perhaps still youthful. .
More about the tastingBrilliant dark ruby red. Very expressive on the nose, with notes of cassis, crushed blueberry, elegant use of oak, a hint of sealing wax, fine malty notes on the finish. Lots of juice and pithy tannins on the palate, spreads decisively over the tongue, with beautiful savoury notes, full-bodied, although the finish is somewhat harsh and still very young.
