Rich, deep dark ruby-purple. Smells appealingly of tobacco, cedar and elderberries, very clear and fresh. Lots of juicy, vivid fruit on the palate, unfolds clearly and densely, polished and tightly meshed tannins, builds up to a long, very fine finish.
